Secrets to Making Your Clothes Long-lasting
Caring for your clothes will not only make them last longer, but will also make you look better. There are so many ways, almost inexhaustible, to care for your clothes. Here are a few:
Be sure to spread out your clothes or wear them over hangers after getting undressed if they are still gonna be worn.
Avoid as much as possible, getting food stains on your clothes, but just in case you do, dab ice water on the stain immediately. Don't rub!
Chemical bleaches don't completely wash out your clothes. Baking soda is a better option.
Drying your clothes in sunlight or open air is a better and safer way in comparison to using dryers as dryers wear out your clothes and fade them more quickly than sunlight.
Make sure your clothes are not crowded or crushed together in your closet.
You can de-wrinkle clothing in a hurry by running hot water into the bathtub and hanging the garment on the shower rod. The steam will remove the wrinkles.
Rub zipper teeth occasionally with wax to keep the zipper working smoothly. The stub of a candle works well for this procedure.
