Haircentric!

Tried It: Tape-In Hair Extensions
"... if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her..." True! Oh that aura that wearing a nice hair gives... Words are superfluous. If you are a hair freak like me, I'm sure you'll wanna know what you can do to keep your hair extensions looking full and new for a longer period of time than they normally will. At least, just so you can have more time to save up for that new hair you've been craving for or just so you'll have more value for your money. Anyways, here's how:
Brush your hair as often as you can. This will reduce the rate at which it tangles up. When you rest your head, when breeze blows up your hair and other regular stuff happen, your hair tangles up little by little. It'll be a disaster if you choose to wait till the close of the day to brush it up. You damage your hair extensions that way. So, what ever you do, always keep a brush or a wide toothed comb in your purse.
This may sound gross, but washing your extension too much is one of the worst things you can do if you want them to last longer. Hair extensions, even though made with real human hair, will not receive any natural oils from your scalp and won't need to be washed frequently. In fact, washing them too often will dry them out. Even if you are wearing them every day, you should be able to go a couple of months without washing. If you wear your hair curly one day and want it straight the next, it's better to flat iron - not to wash it.
Do not brush your hair extensions when wet.
Check out hair products before you use them and be sure they do not contain alcohol. A lot of them products contain alcohol, which dries your hair out and makes it become hard and brittle.
As much as you can, avoid using heat to curl up your hair extensions, flexi rods are a better option.
